Scholarships – Reopens January 2019

NESMA Scholarships

Promoting education for up and coming students and professionals within the industry is an important part of NESMA’s mission.
Throughout the year, NESMA holds events to raise money for its scholarship program. NESMA offers two $1,000 scholarships annually, awarded each May.

Award #1: to a graduating senior attending high school in a New England state (Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont)

Manufacturing Innovation Fund Apprenticeship Program

The Manufacturing Innovation Fund (MIF) Apprenticeship Program supports a combination of on-the-job training and classroom instruction for apprentices in Connecticut’s manufacturing industry. The $7.7 million program will help manufacturers meet market demands by providing incentives to increase the number of apprentices.
